**ETSY SHOP CRITIQUE** For Cecile Moseley
This is a Pretty Etsy Shop Cecile! We have a few suggestions which should help you optimize your shop for selling more of your designs.
Your shop over all has a cohesive look. Your banner is very pretty. I really like its simple elegance. Your photo backgrounds all need to be about the same by lightening them up.
SHOP TITLE:
Use keywords here to describe what you make. These can be changed from season to season or holidays. Try, Deco Mesh Wreaths, Everyday Wreaths, Spring Grapevine Wreaths, etc.
SHOP SECTIONS:
Shop sections need to be keyword specific and can be changed regularly. This way Etsy and Google knows what your shop is about. You're allowed 10 Shop sections. Try to have 5 – 8 of those filled out. Nautical Themed Wreaths, Everyday Wreaths, Easter Deco Mesh Wreaths, Spring Wreaths, etc.
SHOP ANNOUNCEMENT:
The first two sentences are the most important and should be keyword rich. I would take the first couple of sentences and bring those down further into the announcement. Start it out with something like: I create handmade Easter Deco Mesh Wreaths, Grapevine Floral Wreaths, Spring Wreaths, Nautical Themed Wreaths and FRONT DOOR Wreaths for all Seasons etc..
- End this announcement with a warm welcome and anything else you want to add.
- Make sure you complete your Policy Sections.
- I would use your main keyword for you item in the first sentence of your listing description.
- Be sure to add a link back to your shop home page https://www.etsy.com/shop/WreathsByCecile
- I noticed you don’t have any sales yet. I looked at the prices of your wreaths and I think they are a bit high for just starting out with no sales. I feel if you could lower your prices without losing money at least until you get a couple sales. Then gradually start raising them.
I hope that these suggestions will make a difference in your Etsy shop and also increase your sales!
Happy Wreathing!
Nancy
